Não é de hoje que a audiência alcançada pelo "TV Xuxa" é tida como insatisfatória. Considerando a faixa 14h45 às 16h15, os números alcançados pela loira são inferiores aos alcançados ao decorrer da semana e até aos domingos.
Tudo começou na faixa da manhã. Xuxa alcançava médias entre 8 e 10 pontos e tinha certa dificuldade para se isolar na liderança. Com a mudança para as tardes, os números ficaram inalterados. De acordo com a jornalista Keila Jimenez, da coluna Outro Canal, a Globo já não sabe o que fazer com a rainha dos baixinhos.
No último sábado, por exemplo, Xuxa deu 8.8 pontos de média, entre 14h45 e 16h15. O número é inferior aos 17 pontos que "O Clone" tem registrado no decorrer da semana e está longe dos 20/21 que o futebol marca aos domingos.
Não que o share esteja infinitamente menor aos sábados, é a concorrência que apavora a vida de Xuxa. A Record, que chega a marcar 3 em dias de semana, sobe para 11 aos sábados. O SBT oscila em 5/6, assim como os dias úteis.
Com a queda de audiência, a Globo estuda reformar o "TV Xuxa", que deve continuar na grade de 2012.
