Após a Frente Parlamentar Evangélica ameaçar não votar em nenhum dos projetos em pauta na Câmara até que o governo recolha os vídeos anti-homofobia, o ministro da Educação, Fernando Haddad, disse que vai reavaliar o material desse kit que será distribuído para 6 mil escolas públicas.
O kit contém três vídeos sobre transexualidade, bissexualidade e homossexualidade. Mesmo sem ter havido uma divulgação oficial, muitos deles já estão na internet. A versão preliminar desse material só será apresentada aos alunos após a avaliação de cada escola.
Uma cartilha com o símbolo do MEC mostrada por deputados trata de temas como masturbação. Outra, com o símbolo do Ministério da Saúde, traz ilustrações com cenas de sexo entre homens.
Sobre esses folhetos Haddad disse que o MEC sequer distribuiu o material. Aos deputados, o ministro atribuiu a divulgação do kit, que segundo ele ainda não está pronto, a quem o produziu, no caso a ONG Pathfinder.
